Professor Thiago Pierre believes that every individual who walks into Praia Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is worth it – and he wants to teach them to believe the same thing about themselves. Thiago knows that not every student is alike, and approaches instruction accordingly. Unlike your average BJJ school, students at Praia can expect increased one-on-one attention and nuanced teaching that is molded to meet their needs. Ages 4-7
Little Kids Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) isn’t just for adults. In fact, it’s the perfect activity for kids! This form of martial arts is based on automatic human responses and incorporates a lot of ground grappling.
Ages 8-13
Youth Jiu-Jitsu
When it comes to self defense, BJJ empowers a smaller individual to fight against a larger opponent. But the advantages don’t stop there. BJJ helps kids gain confidence, learn discipline, focus their energy, foster respect for others, and be a part of a one-of-a-kind community full of future friends
